I need a fast track system to defining my abs. They’re pretty good, but I want to perfect them. Any tips?

start off with a four pack

Pay attention to what you eat, make sure your fat intake is less that 20% of your total caloric intake, and make sure you don’t eat lots of carbs and if you do make sure you work them out.
Now that you food is in check, do the crunches, all sorts of crunches, very high repetition. Don’t do weighted crunches it will only bulge up your abs and with your shirt over them it will look like you’ve got belly. Start in the morning with 50 standard crunches, take 1 min break, then do the plank for 1min. right after do 50 scissor crunches. And repeat that for 3 sets all in the morning, that will raise your metabolic rate and help you burn off some body fat. In the evening do more abs but not directly; you can accomplish that by doing push-ups, pull-ups and if you go to the gym do most of your exercises standing up, that will force your core to flex therefore working your abs indirectly.
Remember, you are what you eat. 70% of how you look is your diet and the rest training.

Stay away from simple carbs/sugars (breads, pastas, white rice, potatoes) that are high on the glycemic index. Soda is the worst. Incorporate more protein (fish, chicken) and complex carbs from vegetables…also brown rice and quinoa (grain with highest protein content). Fermented brown rice is another protein option which I like as an alternative to whey. If you eat fruit, eat it earlier in the day 30 to 60 minutes before working out as it will give fast burning energy. Hope that helps!
